The paper studies the single degree of freedom vibration of a rigid mass suspended by a thin-walled shape memory alloy tube under torsional loading. The behavior is analyzed for the cases of quasiplasticity (low temperatures) and pseudoelasticity (high temperatures) on the basis of an improved version of the Müller–Achenbach model. To illustrate the strong hysteresis-induced damping capacity and the non-linear vibration characteristics, both, free and forced vibrations are considered in the first part of the paper. This is done on the basis of an isothermal version of the model, while the second part of the paper focuses on the effect of non-constant temperature caused by the rate-dependent release and absorption of latent heats. 相似文献

This paper describes the nonlinear, postcritical behavior of parametrically excited, shallow, cylindrical panels, which are modeled with two or four degrees of freedom. The analysis shows complicated dynamic behavior. Stable, periodic motions coexist with the trivial solution for very small values of the excitation amplitude. Moreover, a stable, chaotic attractor could be found coexisting with the trivial solution.

The article discusses the steady motion of a rigid disk of finite thickness rolling on its edge on a horizontal plane under the influence of gravity. The governing equations are presented and two cases allowing for a steady-state solution are considered: rolling on consistently rough ground and rolling on perfectly smooth ground. The conditions of steady motion are derived for both kinds of ground and it is shown that the possible steady motion of a disk is either on a straight line or in a circle. Oscillations about steady state are discussed and conditions for stable motion established. The bifurcations of steady motions on a smooth surface are also considered. 相似文献

The Nordic forest industry requires just-in-time wood deliveries. Operations must continue regardless of season, weather and terrain. Soil compaction and deep ruts must be avoided while providing high performance and a reasonable working environment for operators.The Xt28 pendulum arm forwarder is a full-size concept forwarder with six hydrostatic propelled wheels on pendulum arms built on a three-piece frame connected with two articulation joints. The Xt28 concept machine was tested according to Skogforsk standard machine tests. Rut depth test focused on soil interaction where rut depth was measured related to number of passes. Machine dynamics were measured using standardized test track with focus on operator comfort.The project proved the potential of pendulum arm technology in off-road transportation. Automatic pendulum arm levelling, equalized ground pressure between wheels and improved operator comfort through reducing adverse vibrations and roll angles, simultaneously reducing dynamic forces transferred to the forest floor. 本文采用激光颗粒动态分析仪(PDA)测量了钢包底部喷吹气液两相流中气泡的直径和气泡上升速度的分布;采用激光多普勒测速仪(LDA)测量了气液两相区和液体单相循环区液体速度场的分布。测量结果表明:气泡在脱离喷嘴上浮一定距离后,其大小基本保持不变;在气液两相区中,气泡速度和液体速度的分布均服从高斯分布;液体在单相区作循环流动,在侧壁与底部交接处,存在液体流动的“死区”。 相似文献

本文讨论受万有引力矩作用沿圆轨道运动的挠性联结双体系统的平面天平动。讨论其相对轨道坐标系的可能平衡状态。利用Liapunov直接法分析各平衡状态的稳定性。分析表明,当刚度系数足够小时,平衡状态呆产生分岔和稳定性突变。利用参数空间对系统的全局运动性态作出定性的描述。 相似文献

We address the problem of inverse dynamics for flexible multibodies, which arises, in trajectory tracking control of flexible multibodies such as space manipulators and articulated flexible structures. Previous research has resolved this trajectory tracking problem by computing the system inputs for feedforward control of actuators at the joints. Recently, the use of distributed actuators like electro-strictive actuators in flexible structures has introduced a new dimension to this trajectory tracking problem. In this paper we optimally utilize such actuators to aid joint actuators for tracking control, and introduce a new inverse dynamics scheme for simultaneously (1) tracking a prescribed trajectory and (2) minimizing ensuing elastic deflections. We apply this scheme for trajectory tracking of a two-link two-joint planar manipulator with joint motors and distributed electro-strictive actuators. Experimental results are presented to contrast our new scheme with other existing methods. 相似文献

A recently developed coupled third-order zigzag theory for the statics of piezoelectric hybrid cross-ply plates is extended
to dynamics. The theory combines a third-order zigzag approximation for the in-plane displacements and a sub-layerwise linear
approximation for the electric potential, considering all components of the electric field. The nonuniform variation of the
transverse displacement due to the piezoelectric field is accounted for. The conditions for the absence of shear traction
at the top and bottom surfaces and continuity of transverse shear stresses in the presence of electromechanical loading are
satisfied exactly, thereby reducing the number of displacement variables to five, which is the same as in a first- or third-order
equivalent single-layer theory. The governing equations of motion are derived from the extended Hamilton's principle. The
theory is assessed by comparing the Navier solutions for the free and forced harmonic vibration response of simply supported
plates with the exact three-dimensional piezoelasticity solutions. Comparisons for hybrid test, composite and sandwich plates
establish that the present theory is quite accurate for the dynamic response of moderately thick plates. 相似文献

This study is in keeping with the general pattern of dynamical simulations of a set of rigid three-dimensional bodies submitted to unilateral contact constraints with dry friction. An exact formulation (respecting the contact and friction laws) of the problem of predicting the system accelerations and the contact status, in further evolution is proposed. A numerical treatment of this kind of nonlinear problem is presented. This approach is applied to a simple multi-contact example, and yields results in agreement with those of analytical and numerical type, known for this example. To cite this article: C.
